God, we find Him, not just in one place but everywhere our eyes fall! This week has been an awesome week for me in the Lord. Our church had its 16th annual Bible Conference and it lasted Sunday through Wednesday. I sang in the choir each night and we heard some anointed messages. You know God is present when everything goes together, not just in the service but in your personal life as well. The theme I kept hearing in everything was never quit on God because God never quits on us.
And He doesn’t. I wish I could list for you all the times God has been faithful to me and my children. But I am afraid the blog would never end. When I put the "God’s Faithful Times" list up in my mind and then put the list of my faithfulness next to it….I am utterly ashamed, undone. I even spoke to Him in my spirit during one of the sermons, "O God I wish that I had seen what my unfaithfulness would do to your heart" and tears came to my eyes. And then without skipping a beat He spoke back "I love you with an everlasting love" That night after arriving home, I was walking on the sidewalk to my apartment still thinking of the message and the Words He spoke to me during the service, when a gentle cool breeze blew against my face. You ever get a tickle down the back of your neck when you knew something awesome just happened? Well not only did I get that tickle but a smile just crept across my face…I knew it was God and He was whispering to me.
For the rest of the night I just had the image of God, creator of all the universe who spoke the world into being, standing next to me, pointing to everything that He had orchestrated in my life. My health, my home, my children and even my faith. My faith to see and believe that it was indeed Him.
The very next morning a dear friend sent me an e-card. Guess what the card was about? It featured a song by Chris Tomlin "Indescribable" and it said "An awesome God who created the universe, also cares about every detail of your life!" It had pictures of stars and the galaxies.
Now this is the cool part. My friend lives in another town and had no idea that the song we, the choir, sang at church the night before was none other than "Indescribable" by Chris Tomlin. And that right before the message our Pastor had talked about the stars that God spoke into existence and named each one. An amazing, uncontainable, indescribable God!
Isn’t it amazing how when we seek God we find Him!
Thy mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds.
