How great is our God?

How great is our God?

Well he is here! And he has made a lot of people in our family change their position in the family heirarchy. I have become a Grammy, my daughter an aunt, my sons, uncles.  He has made my parents great- grandparents and his father and mother’s grandparents, great-grandparents.  He has brought tears, smiles and laughter to all who have prayed and awaited his arrival.  He has brought a ray of sunshine into the world the moment he entered.  A blessing from the Almighty God!  An amazing thing that happens every few seconds every day but yet it makes your world stand still for one single moment in praise of a God who spent 9 months weaving him together.

Today is the birthday of my grandchild Brodie!  He came into the world squirming and screaming…He was 7 lbs 2 oz & 19" long…when I got the picture and laid eyes on him, my heart melted.  He is a precious baby doll!

His mom and dad, exhausted but proud, happy and filled with wonder!

Thank you God for my very special belated Valentine!

  1. That is so amazing!!!  And you expressed it so well!!!

I too have experienced the awe-inspiring miracle of birth.  It\’ll be 15 years ago this month, to be exact.  My son is being raised by the parents I chose to adopt him, and they send me letters and pictures of him every year around the time of his birthday.  He got bio mom\’s good looks, lol, and his dad\’s mellow, introspective personality, so he totally scored!  Lol.  (He would have fared even better had he gotten his bio dad\’s looks, but he\’s blessed that he didn\’t get his mom\’s high-strung-teetering-a-little-too-close-for-comfort-to-type A personality!)

    Congratulations!!!

    Love ya,
    Carol 🙂
